I dropped Victorian Culture and Society. I talked to the professor, put my dilemma before him, and he agreed with me that dropping it was the best course of action. He also said he'd likely be teaching it again before I graduate, and if I can't take it when it's offered, he'll work with me to do an Independent Study on science in the Victorian era, which is my big new interest. So that worked out well.

The Wednesday, everything that could have gone wrong almost did. It was amazing.

Tuesday night, my internal speakers died. Wednesday, I restarted the computer to see if it'd help.

My computer then refused to start up at all.

I fiddled with it and it finally worked, so it's all backed up now. My only worry is that the lack of internal speakers and the not starting up are related to when David spilled ramen on my laptop a few months ago, and these are the first signs of it dying.

BUT for now I have my computer.

Then we went to get D&D stuff/pick up my meds. My meds were almost just late enough to make me miss the shuttle back. But we got out RIGHT before the driver pulled away.

While at the game store, I realized my phone was missing. On the bus home, we called it- and my friend was sitting on it.

And of course, I had been terrified the history prof would be upset with me for dropping/dislike me because of it, but instead I have the promise for more awesomeness in the future.

STRESSFUL DAY WAS STRESSFUL.

Independent Study is officially approved!

Also, Summer Science apps are due on the 10th, and my Off Campus Study app is due on the 1st. Working on both currently.

I got my office set up, and I got pictures. I'll post those soon.

I just requested books from OhioLINK that I need for my study.

I'm cooking today after class, then maybe going to MST3K or playing FFX. Tomorrow is more cooking, then D&D. Sunday is signing up for weaving (I can't take both weaving and glass bead making T_T) and then being a model for my friend's SFX make-up.

Tuesdays and Thursdays I now can sleep in til whenever, then go into the lab until dinner, and that's it. It's amazing. :D

Ohayocon is in just over a week! HOLY SHIT.
