Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you your erstwhile writer:





My new glasses are so cute! And I love my haircolor. Sadly, I'm not as pleased with how they cleaned up my eyebrows... bah. That's always hit or miss, especially since I like a starker, more angled brow than a lot of people.


Today, the plan is to finish plotting out the last two chapters of Couper (I know what's going to happen, just not in any structured form) and possibly work on world building for an original story, one that includes a subspecies of human who have a much higher incidence of piebaldism!

And if I'm feeling up to it, writing something. Something should get itself written. ASNAWOH really needs to be worked on, but I have a feeling it'll be Couper, since I already have a fairly large portion of Ch. 4 written and waiting to be expanded and situated.

Oh.

And.

... Fenris/Cauthrien. FANDOM BICYCLE, I TELL YOU, but it makes a strange sort of sense post-Zevran. So that's on the docket to be written up. :)

It's predicated entirely upon it being the same continuity as Couper - Cauthrien accompanies Alistair and Teagan to Kirkwall in Act 3 of DA2 and runs into Fenris in the Hanged Man. Fenris is working himself up to actually getting laid (this is before his lovely night with Isabela) and Cauthrien realizes with much amusement that she's apparently developed a Thing for elves with pale hair and tattoos. (At some point, she also mentions that ten years ago, she would have said she had a Thing for physically imposing warriors who brood and are somewhat paranoid. Fenris mentions that he fits those, too.)

It's... very odd. XD BUT OH SO RIGHT. (Also, I blame smaragdina for encouraging me to actually write it.)

Hah hah hah. Oh, well, lucky Cauthrien. I'm entertained by her rather idiosyncratic interests. But they will serve her well. ;)

I'm a huge fan of oddball pairings, haha. :) They make me excited. (Of course, I also love traditional pairings. Cauth/Loghain is growing... and growing... and growing... and now has a title! I keep telling it that I can't write it yet. It's ignoring me. :<)

I love the strange pairings, too. ;) Some tradition ones are good, though. Cauth/Loghain is potentially great fun, and I'm having fun with the degree of weird you can delve into with Anora/Cailan.

...then again, I mostly like humor. *sigh*

I enjoy humor a lot! I'm just... not particularly good at writing it? Or rather, I have tiny moments of humor in otherwise Serious Business stories. So I have much respect for people who can pull off humor - such as you! :)

I love humor. I still wish I knew why everything I wrote devolves into humor but there we have it. *sigh* Someday I will be able to write stuff that isn't goofy. Maybe? Like, seriously, even the soap has devolved into a vehicle for Cailan Theirin, Sekrit Genius to derp it up. I'm not sure how that happened. Like, if when I started it I was told, "You will be writing a Cyrano de Bergiac scene", I'd be like, "yeah, no way". Oh well...

\o/ I actually thought I wouldn't be able to get these frames - I wear bifocals (sort of, it's complicated), so I need a certain size of lens, and these were smaller than the other two frames I picked out. But the other two frames sat wrong on my face and these were actually the best!
