I'm done!

Both my papers for Research Methods were revised and submitted yesterday, and everything else was done by Thursday of last week.

Time to relax. :)

Of course, I'm already thinking about next semester: Four classes, one independent study, one data analysis/write-up for Prof T (long-distance), one job modeling for the art department, one job working for a Bio professor updating her book log and keeping track of attendance, and two Craft Center classes.

Here's what my schedule's looking like:

MWF

8:10-9:00 - Bio - Information in Living Systems (mostly genetics)
9:10-10:00 - Psych - Theories of Personality
10:00-12:00 - Work for Prof E
12:00-1:00 - Lunch
1:10-2:00 - Philosophy - Intro to Logic

TR

12:00-2:30 - Independent Study - Lab work
2:40-4:00 - History - Victorial Culture and Society

And then somewhere in there, working for the art department, 2 hours of glass bead making (for Lenna), and 2 hours of weaving a week. At least.

...

..... why do I do this to myself? XD

A question for seamstresses/lolis on my f-list.

I'm planning on making a purple loli skirt for myself this break out of some fabric David's mother sent me. Style wise, I'm thinking classic-loli a-line, like a Mary Magdalene piece. ( http://www.marymagdalene.jp/contents/dress/212/0108/ or http://www.flickr.com/photos/14197053@N03/sets/72157622192052597/ ) I'm going to add a lining with a visible ruffle below the hem of the main skirt.

Now, question! For the high-waist skirt, if I'm not adding shirring, would it be better to use boning or interfacing to keep the waist from bunching? (Also, would I do a gored skirt or a more normal a-line?)
