Man, I haven't even played much DA (got it while my desktop was still flaky with a bad PSU, it killed my hard drive and I lost my save and basically ragequit >_>), but damn this is still amazing without even really knowing the context.
Heh, I actually was playing a dorf, but I did commoner origin. (In mildly related news, the first Mass Effect actually runs on my laptop if I crank the settings down, so I'm finally playing it. :3)
(Also, I've now beaten ME2 once, playing a Renegade playthrough now. Turns out if I'd just let the Cerberus Network download and install before starting my first character, I would've gotten an INTERACTIVE BACKSTORY COMIC that lets you make the major ME2-influencing decisions if you haven't played ME1.
