Sep. 12th, 2009 01:21 pmChicken is marinating! I have the spice rub sitting right next to me in my little mortar and pestle (no coffe grinder, so I do it by hand), ready to go onto the chicken once it's done, which'll be at around 4. At that point, the chicken gets cooked, I brown some butter (as a substitute for the flavor of almonds, since one of my guests can't eat them), make the sauce, and add the chicken back in.
Sometime while it's cooking, I get to fry the paratha in butter and garlic, then pop it on a baking tray in the oven to keep it warm. Rice goes into the rice cooker about the time when I add the heavy cream to the sauce.
So exciting! I'm going to get pictures for you guys once it's done. :D
