Tomorrow, I'm making chicken tikka masala, rice, and paratha. So excited! I have to start the process around noon by getting the chicken into its yogurt maranade. There's a chance it won't take on enough flavor, since I'm only going to let it go for three-four hours instead of the traditional 8+, but I'm using breast meat and I don't want the yogurt to COMPLETELY turn it to mush. I may set aside some of the spices to do a quick rub once I'm ready to cook it.

Sometime this weekend I need to:

Read next chapter for stat
HW 3 for stat
Formulate hypotheses for resmeth
Do research for hypotheses
Review skull bones
D&D campaign stuff
Prep for independent study proposal

I'm feeling SO much better now that the funeral is over, honestly. All the craziness and stress of the week and a half leading up to it is all gone. I just feel... relaxed. I mean, as relaxed as I get.

(but holy shit good spices are expensive. I at least got them in seed form, so I can toast the then grind them myself tomorrow.)

XDDD I'm not amazing YET although the stuff I make seems to turn out good more often than not. I'm still learning a lot. I've just spent like. 4+ years watching Food Network in my off-time, so I've picked up a lot of things. (AKA, yogurt breaks down protein, spice rubs are yummy, feel free to fiddle with existing recipes). I'll try to get a picture of tonight's dinner, if I can.

I really do want to get some nice serving dishes at some point. Even just a nice bowl to put the meal in. Everybody can still eat off paper plates, buuut. T_T Sadly, won't happen for a while.

More or less. Fridge, stove, oven, microwave. You have to bring your own pots and pans, but. :)
