Heart stuff updates:

So, my pediatrician called me this morning to tell me I had an appointment at GBMC with cardiology this Monday. MUCH better than August 3rd, and way worth the phone tag yesterday.

I had a good day today, though I think my circulation might be starting to have problems. My feet/lower legs are chilly a lot even under the covers, and my arms fell asleep very quickly when I rested on them.

I had one episode this morning, very minor, and then I went out for lunch with a friend. That helped, I think - I was out of bed, taking my mind off of things. Being in bed seems to up the chances of just having uuuuugh periods. So when I got home, I stayed up in the living room and worked on beading for Sati. Over the last two days I sewed 40 of the unlined scales. :) I've finished beading the cuffs and have two of the collar pieces done. Staying busy but not stressed really helps keep the stress from triggering episodes.

I'm looking into medical alert bracelets, mostly just to keep on record that antihistamines have triggered tachycardia in me in case I like... go into anaphylactic shock from fire ant stings or something. XD

ETA: I'm thinking I might get a few fashion dolls one day, since they look a bit more mature than BJDs. Mainly,

Because there's no character in my head for her and I could just make pretty, pretty clothing. XD

"episode"? Episode of what? Do you actually have any MEDICAL diagnosis or does your heart just have occasional times where it beats somewhat faster than normal (aka tachy)? How does *tachy* put you out for hours at a time each day? Does it not give you a clue if your EKG and CT came back normal but you still feel faint sometimes? Psychosomatiek, girl. There's a reason your doctor didn't put you in the hospital, talk with you about pacemakers, or give you atropine injections.

Aren't the antihistamines out of your system yet or are you not quite done milking your comparatively mild side effect for all its whiny worth? You wonder why your boy is irritated that its all you talk about. We are too, you don't have to mention that your heart sometimes ...beats fast? in every post.. yeah.
Love, DoD

I'll stop mentioning it. You could have just asked. (Honestly, I didn't think anybody on the board cared. I was just venting on DD because, wow, you can DO that.)

I'm sorry, though, but I'm going to keep a record on my private LJ.

The antihistamines were tied to two cases. I stopped taking them. A month later, when it was no longer an issue, I had to go to the hospital for another incident - I called my doctor, told them what was happening, and THEY told me to go to a hospital. The hospital decided it would be best to start testing me. I hope to god it's psychosomatic.
