Jun. 5th, 2009 10:31 amI got fabric and bodice patterns to make myself a few leg of mutton-sleeved blouses for the fall. :) I got red tweed and am planning on getting a nice, slightly shiny cream fabric. I'm going to use the left over black fabric from Sati, too.
The red blouse will have a different bodice, only buttoning up part way and having an underbust seam. The sleeves, where they tighten up again, will be fastened with little clock buttons.
The black blouse will be more experimental. The front has a panel of pintucks, and I'm planning on using exposed brass zippers as piping to set off that panel. Also, the tight part of the sleeves will be sealed with likewise exposed brass zippers that do zip up to the wrists, then separate and act as trim around the cuff. I'm so excited about that one!
The cream will be fairly simple, with understated buttons, a flounce along the front button panel, and ruffles at the cuff. :)

Also, <username="Liu_xing"> will be making me a Victorian-amalgam wig for me to wear with these and my other steampunky type clothing, so I'm going to go ahead and get my hair cut shortish again, and dye it red. \o/
I was going to sew today, but at this point, all I want to do is play Sims 3 for a while. We'll see. >.>
