Jun. 3rd, 2009 06:28 pmSo, apparently anti-histimines, no matter the active ingredient, are not for me. Benadryl is what put me in the emergency room with tachycardia a month or so ago, and now Claritin has my heart rate elevated to 100-105, which, while not dangerous, is still fucking uncomfortable.
Ugh. I just don't know what to do, because there's nowhere I can stay where my allergies don't eventually get to me. x.x

But besides no allergies and very pretty sunsets, the city is pretty lame.
Have you tried anything other than those two? Drixoral I've found to be very effective, but makes me very drowsy. There's some other one that's been advertised on TV a bunch lately. And I guess some other prescription options.

Date: 2009-06-04 03:57 am (UTC)I haven't, and I'm a bit worried to. Given that there's no common active ingredient in Benadryl and Claritin, it seems like just the actions of an antihistimine is what's setting off my heart. I'm being shipped off to the doctor to confirm that that's the only problem. XD
