Posting from Towson U, just finished my first meeting with Dr. Timko. :) This summer looks like it'll be a lot of fun, and I'm going to get a lot of practice with base-level stuff like data entry, lit searches, and qualitative measure review. I'm still sad that it doesn't pay and I can't run subjects, but it'll be fine.

I should find another job, though, just so I can have a bit of income. I'm currently going to be working 4-5 hours a day, three days a week at the lab, so that leaves a lot of time to fill.

Hungry, though. :< I didn't bring a lunch and I have to wait another twenty minutes before I can be picked up, since my ride is currently eating without me. I'm going to start bringing lunch or money to get at least a snack from the Starbucks across the road. I'll ask Timko if there's any place near enough to walk to to get actual lunch from, too.

Towson U? In Maryland?! There's a ton of places very near the campus that you can walk to. Depending on how much time you have and how much you like to walk, at least. :) If not today, for future reference.

There's a bunch of carry-out type places off and around York Road. If you have the time to get to the direction of the Mall, there's a place called Pasta Mista in a strip mall on Dulaney Valley Road (it's directly across the street from the side of Towson Town Center where the PF Chang's and the Cheesecake Factory are. They have some of THE BEST food. Ever. EVER-ever.

Ooo, thanks. I'll definitely check it out. All I really knew about was... can't remember the name of it, but it's a sports bar right at the campus. :) I live down more in Timonium, so I'm only used to that part of York Road.

I went to Towson, and then worked in Hunt Valley for 13 years. I think I still know that whole stretch of York road better than I know my own neighborhood. :) We were just in Towson yesterday.
