Sep. 13th, 2009 08:30 pmLast night was a success!

I really need nice plates, though.
It took seven hours, but the chicken tikka masala, chapati-like things, and rice all got done! I set the stove on fire while pan searing the chicken bits, then a few hours later, while we were frying the bread, the fire alarm went off. A random drill, wonderfully timed.
It tasted great, though! I think I added a little too much yogurt, so some of that will be replaced with just heavy cream next time. But the chicken was tender and flavorful, the sauce was spicy but not too much (and spice was easily added with hot paprika) so that everybody could eat it, and there was so much of it. Easily serves 8.
David and I ordered pizza tonight for dinner. XD
