Dec. 31st, 2008 10:42 amCurrently in Chicago. :)
There's something about cities that I love. I mean, the landscape is totally artificial and strangely square-edged, but I love being able to look out of the window (we're on the seventh floor - my great aunt has a swanky apartment) and see office buildings and sky-scrapers and the little glittering movements of cars off in the distance. And then there's being able to talk or take public transportation just about everywhere. I'm starting to think I'm more of a city person than I initially thought. And I am definitely, truly, thoroughly sick of the suburbs.
Though rambling through fields and woods is very, very nice.
Also reading Family Man, finally - an absolutely great webcomic that I've been following via LJ but not really... reading, for several months. /o\ Getting myself back into that.
Also thinking of using the evenings here to write, since I stay up later than my family and it's a very quiet building.
