College is amazing, you guys. I still ADORE it. Hardcore.

I've made very nice friends, done very fun things, met a very lovely boy, and have AMAZING books for class.

For Proper Ladies, we're currently reading Virginia Woolf's A Room of One's Own. It's been slow going, since I'm still hyper and distracted AND I'm annotating the shit out of it, but it's so interesting to read. I love semi stream-of-consciousness arguments. :) And I love her writing style.

For Intro to Sociology, we're reading The Forest and the Trees, and while I think the author uses TOO many examples, they're all wonderful and the book just flows and reinforces intself. So gooooood.

For Intro to Drama, we're reading... well, Poetics, which is okay, but the class itself rocks.

And for Psych! Our text-book is AMAZING. It explains from the beginning a lot of psychological thinking errors (hindsight bias, paradolia, etc) and the writer is ridiculous. :) Psychoceramics - the study of crackpots. Written on April Fool's Day and included in the final edition (with a footnote).

Back to work!

Lovely boy? In addition to the Otakon guy? So now you have two boyfriends?

XD I made a post a few weeks back that Otakon guy didn't work out.

I'm firmly against having more than one boyfriend at a time. :P

Oh. ::checks:: 1 week ago. (Otakon was just 3 weeks ago, though to me it seems a lot more recent) Somehow I didn't notice that part of that post...

'sokay, I didn't make a big deal out of it. We only dated for about a week. :) Was just an issue of different life stages and all.

I'm a bit ashamed, to be honest, that I'm already falling for somebody else, but I'm in an entirely new situation and place, so...

my dear, feel free to date a lot. now is the time! your classes sound great. Funny you should be reading Virginia Woolfe. I happen to be sewing costumes for a dance piece based on her life and suicide. She walks into the lake at the end.

YAY for College going well =) Especially the very lovely boy - is this the other evil overlord you were telling me about the other day? *smiles*

I'm in favor of psychoceramics as a discipline ^_^ Actually, that sounds a lot like the text we had for my "Science and Pseudo-Science" class....
