So, I'm trying to figure out what other costume I should do this year besides Zalera's Shamaness, since that's a DEFINITE pair costume that I need my other half for. XD I need something for Anime Punch - which is also more focused on animme than anime AND gaming. Still, if it comes down to it, a game costume is also possible.

The thing is, I'll only have access to a sewing machine for maybe three weeks before Anime Punch. I WILL have a lot of time to do detailing, though.

So, any suggestions? Keep it to things you know I've seen/played OR think I should see/play. Obviously, this means no recommending a Naruto cosplay. :P But something like Rozen Maiden would be fine, since I want to watch it anyway.

HRM - you could probably pull off a really nice Suiseiseki or Souseiseki from Rozen Maiden, actually. XD' Or maybe something from Pet Shop of Horrors?

Yeah, at mention of Rozen, I thought of those two. But if doing one, it helps to have both siblings. Maybe you can talk your new boyfriend into Souseiseki crossplay ;)

I too suggest a Rozen Maiden cosplay for you - there are two of the dolls, whose names I can't recall, either of whom you could do very well as (and would enjoy the costumes as costumes).

That being said: Geneon didn't get the entire series out over here before they threw their little temper tantrum, so (as far as I know) only four of the six DVDs are available in English (at least through normal channels). This isn't as bad as it sounds, though: the first three DVDs are a complete plot arc unto themselves, and I've got the whole thing. Shall I bring them when I come visiting?
